Carriage lessons for beginners run on weekdays after 2pm throughout the year and occasionally we have weekends available. An introduction lesson to carriage riding is an hour and a half for £75. this includes learning harnessing up and a looking at different types of carriages.
Dont be put off by the term Carriage Driving, my dad called them carts a I often get asked for pony and trap lessons, other terms are pony and gig driving, when you come for your first lesson I can show you some different carts, carriages and gigs
Carriage driving lessons can be tailored to your needs, so if you’d like an hour lesson with your own horse or pony or one of our superb ponies that would be £55 per hour.
Our most popular package is a half day experience which includes a carriage driving lesson and a carriage ride out on a scenic local drive with a pair of horses driven by one of Peter, Steph or Rowena this is £180 for up to 2 people together.
